    Just ordered 5
    Amazing thank you

  2. Shlomo

    Five is the limit. After that the price skyrockets. Don’t know if you can do it a second time though for another five.

  3. Baruch

    I don’t think it’s a prize mistake. It’s just a very good deal.

  4. simon

    just ordered 20 on 4 separate orders of 5

  5. joe firee

    WHAT IS EVERYONE GOING TO DO WITH THEM ?

  6. Refuafan

    In for 5.
    Interestingly, the price jumps with 6+.

    @Mendy: Read the post.

  7. Sharon

    Got one! Had a $25 Dell promo card so it was free! Thank you!

  8. Yossi

    Ordered five. After five the price goes up. Thank you. 🙂

  9. Ybeeds

    They seem to be on sale as well as another model for $29… Don’t think it’s a mistake.

  10. Stoneman

    In for 1. Hope it gets here by Shabbat so I can play League of Legends

  11. Rick

    I ordered 10 without noticing the price hike. Tried to email tonight to ask for cancellation or price match (it doesn’t state anywhere that the price changes on +5) but their online and phone systems both don’t recognize my order ID. Could be because of the late hour or could be because orders aren’t actually going through?

  12. Josh rosenthal

    Ok, good deal but this would in effect be replacing the standard 1TB hard drive in a laptop with capacity far greater than 256gb. So…….. but thanks!

  13. Me

    After my experience with the last Dell price mistake where they cancelled all orders, I didn’t bother wasting my time… Looking forward for updates

  14. AMG

    Dell also has WD Blue M.2 250GB Internal SSD Solid State Drive – SATA 6Gb/s – WDS250G1B0B on sale for $29.99. Amazon at $84.99

  15. Anonymous

    Why is this considered a great deal?
    It comes out to $80 for 1tb.
    In terms of stroage, that is not a good price at all.

  16. Mendy

    ordered 20 units 4 orderes of 5 Lets hope it goes through

    Thanks Dan

  17. Challa baker

    Thanks Dan!!! Once again a great deal!!

  18. Rick

    FYI – My attempt to cancel the order for 10 units was deemed unsuccessful by Dell of course. I have emailed them as well for a cancellation of this wrong price.

    Good thing I bought this on my Starwood Amex.

  19. Yosef

    @Me Free cash back from your credit card?

  20. Mc

    @Josh

    1) you can switch out the cd drive with a converter and your 1tb…

    2) the speed is today worth it…

  21. Jmass

    I didn’t even know what it was I just ordered 5 because it’s an amazing deal. Thanks Dan!!

  22. Arkmark31

    How do I switch out the cd drive?

  23. Uri

    How do I install it into a laptop? Do I need to buy an enclosure?

  24. Anonymous

    @Uri: yes – just look on amazon or ebay. you can find tons of them

  25. Ark mark

    Is it worth expediting the shipping in case they cancel?

  26. Howe

    Just ordered a few.

    Thanks Dan!

  27. Tami

    In.. Thanks. This will make a great back up for my Family Pics

  28. Menasheh

    They cut out my link google “WDS250G1B0BA”

  29. J

    Shows up as 19.99 on product page then $75 in cart. Dead? They didn’t honor the monitor price mistakes a few months back so I doubt they’ll ship these.

    Market Value $99.99
    Total Savings $23.00
    Dell Price$76.99

  31. mike

    anyone have an extras that they are willing to sell?

  32. frumJew777

    @mike yes i have an extra

  33. Wondering

    Anyone received cancellation emails yet?

  34. leah

    can this be used as extra storage, like an external hard drive?

  35. Shaya

    Got 5 and was confirmed. Thanks!

  36. Mc

    @leah: It ‘can’ but you would need to buy an external hard drive enclosure (not hard to do).

    But keep in mind, the speed is far better and far more useful as your main hard-drive (for windows + programs) with all your pics and docs on a secondary hard drive (not ssd, unless you have enough ssd space).

    If you make ssd your main hard drive you will see a significant improvement in opening programs and starting windows (unless it’s an old/cheap computer).

    External enclosure:

  37. Mc

    Just received a followup email: Your order has been confirmed.

  38. Yossi

    @Leah. I wouldn’t rely on ssd (or any flag memory) for long term storage.

  39. Adi

    I received a confirmation email.”Your order is confirmed”

  40. Danny

    4 of mine just shipped. Although I was the first ones to order it. DD was a bit late on this one.

  41. Uch

    Ordered 20? Really? Way to run away with the deal.

  42. Former

    @Danny: ditto!

    @Uch: jealous jelly bean.

    @Mc: true, true, but even more so on a old cheap computer!

    @Menasheh: yes way.

    @Tami: you’ll need an enclosure for this to be able to plug and play via USB for an external hard drive.

    @Uri: search in YouTube: your computer model number, hard drive replacement. You will then need free cloning software to copy your old hard drive to the new one. If you have a lot of data, (movies etc) you will need to back that up elsewhere so the total storage will be able to clone to the new drive. Plenty of tutorials online.

    @Josh rosenthal: see above.

    @joe firee: sell them.

    If anyone bought these, and have extras, I’ll pay cash 💰 for them.

  43. A L

    I received a “confirmation” email but it wasn’t shipped yet did any ones ship already (I’m talking about the free shipping option)?

  44. PR

    @A L: i’m ready to pay 30-35.

  45. NK

    @Uri: It’s 2.5″, so you shouldn’t need an enclosure for a laptop

  46. Mottel

    Just received an email – it was a pricing mistake and they cancelled my order.

  47. Mordy

    Just got an email saying they cancelled it I was one of the first to do it

    @Danny: did you actually get a shipped confirmation? Did you pay for 1 day shipping?

  56. Jesper

    My order of 5 got cancelled today. They are probably just trying to create a demand curve… lol

  57. Chaya

    My order of 1 was cancelled 🙁
    I’ve never fought price.mistakes before. Is it worth trying?

  58. Bob

    Received email order was canceled.

  59. Menasheh

    @Former: Just got three cancellation emails. So much for that…

  60. Anonymous

    @Jesper: Yeah now it says “popular product” on their website… Yeah, sure…

  61. sam

    they cancelled my order not honoring it 🙁

  62. BB

    Me too. What’s funny though, that they state the reason that I requested the cancellation…

    “Your order has been cancelled.
    As requested, some or all of the items in this order have been cancelled. You’ll find your cancellation details below, and you can view all products in this order on your Order Status page.

    If this order was cancelled in error, or if you’d like to place this this order again, you can contact a Dell sales representative or call 800-624-9897 and we’ll be happy to help. We hope you’ll shop with Dell again soon!”

  63. Yossi62

    I received an email my order has been canceled

  64. Anonymous

    Am I the only person who had the items shipped?

    I must of gotten lucky…

    I only ordered 2 pieces.

  65. Alex

    Same here. Order got cancelled and the email I got said it was “as requested”.
    Any way to make a social media stink about this to get them to repent?

  66. Yitz

    Called up Dell to complain. The guy said 60,000 people!!! ordered it but all of them are cancelled.

  67. quan

    @Yitz:

    same here, just called them, they said the same, lol

  68. abe

    my order got cancelled as of january 9th

  69. Dell-apidated

    My m.2 order (for 1) was canceled. The 2.5 order (for 1- ordered on Jan 4) was shipped. I tracked it to my city. The fedex said it was refused (it wasn’t). I called DELL, they recalled before delivery. They did not and HAVE not returned the money to my credit card. One ‘agent’ promised me 24 hours. Promise broken. The next ‘agent’ promised 24 hours after the shipment was received back at the warehouse. Promise broken. Now they say 10 more business days and perhaps I will need to dispute the claim with my credit card. Are you kidding me? Every other retailer can magically put in back in 24 hours. I smell a money raising scam. Make an intentional “pricing error”, ding the (thousands?) of credit cards, cancel the orders, keep the money – at least as long as possible. OH, and they were NOT all canceled. My son ordered the same drive, same day, same price. It was delivered. Discrimination too?

  70. Anonymous

    @Anonymous: These are S olid state drives, better than standard hard drives. This is why it is a good deal. (It has better performance, computer runs faster, no moving parts, and will likely last longer). 🙂
