Call living social at 877.521.4191 (keep pushing 0 to talk to someone) and ask why are you not getting the $5 discount for being a new referred customer.
Seems like it’s a bug on their site.

The same thing always happens to me with Groupon bucks- they are not credited until I ask for them. I wonder if both these sites rely on people not degrading themselves for the sake of a few bucks…
