Did anyone else besides me notice that ubereats charges sales tax on deliveries in OH while grubhub doesn’t? There should not be sales tax on take out food at all in OH unless the order contains soda’s or other taxable items. Sounds to me like the state of OH owes the taxpaying ubereats customers a lot of money
Costco collects sales tax on tissues in NJ while no other supermarket does. Corporate America for the bad and for the good ( think points) !

You’re exactly right, and this is a big problem for the food delivery services. That said, you’re assuming that UberEats is actually paying over those sales taxes they collect :0
