    @Costco:
    That is significantly more per K-Cup.
    And it’s not the name brand.

    Or, you could buy the Bunn MyCafe MCU and have your choice on whether to use K Cups, Pods/Discs, or regular old Ground… and it makes a good cup too.

    I got one a few weeks ago — no more K Cups for me.

    @Doug:
    I tried using Ground Coffee in the MCU, but the cleaning process afterward is a pain in the neck. No?

    For those trying to bring the cost per k-cup down, and don’t mind minimal work try the reusable k-cup and you can use ur own coffee (i use the Solofill K3, there are a few brands out there)…i bought the solofill grinder (<$50) which grinds fresh beans into the reusable k-cup in 11 seconds and u have a freshly grounded kcup ready to use in ur keurig (i have the mr. coffee)….u bring the cost from 30-60 cents a k-cup down to under 10 cents (for fresh coffee) depending on quality of beans you choose (costco in my area has fresh roasted beans for i think 8.99/2.5 lb bag – that's cheaper and better quality than local wholesalers/roasters have)

    @Abraham S – Well, it would have been an improvement if they had some type of “plunger” button on the underside that pushed out the grounds, but it’s not that hard.

    What I do is just hold it by the main part and the screen (so it doesn’t flop around) and bang my hand on the side of it a couple times. Then I just rinse under warm water and lightly rub my thumb on the inside to loosen the stuff that gets stuck to the fine screen. Overall, takes about 10 seconds but an ejector would be a great aftermarket improvement…

    Even with that though, it makes the hottest cup of coffee I’ve had in a home brewer and it is plenty strong with Pulse on.

    -Doug
