I liked the deal. Picked up a cool jacket for my husband and I’m glad if Dan made money or got credt for the purchase I wouldn’t have otherwise known about with him.

I don’t know if there is a disclaimer somewhere or if there needs to be one but Dan doesn’t do this as a volunteer. He sends us great deals and advice 24/6 that have benefited thousands of people. Yes he makes money off of links, ads, cc signups etc.

I never understood this type of comment on this site. There is no assumption when using this site that mr eleff is doing this altruistically. Dan provides a service in the form of content production and deal aggragation, and is expected to be compensated for his work. I believe he does this full time now, which means that his affiliate links are what puts the bread on his table.
