Re: return address: it is a “return center that various companies use.
Re: doesn’t work with Paypal, it did work with Paypal if you would have first logged into the uniqlo account. You cannot use guest checkout with the code.
I made 4 orders, did the separate email method and used Paypal for each one.
Ordered socks, gloves, shorts, shirts etc.

I did not see you reccomend it but many have commented on their using multiple email accounts to set up disparate accounts and multiple, almost free orders. I do not consider that to differ from genevah. It is clear that Uniqlo set a $15 limit for a reason.
Perhaps you should have warned against this. This is not even lime a mistake fare, this is more akin to a door left open and genevah.
Are they honoring these purchases? I haven’t seen any tracking number or anything yet.

what makes this code wrong? How does anyone get wind of these glitches?

As it’s become apparent, every order was canceled. This was the first ‘deal’ I’ve used from Dan’s site that didn’t bear fruit. So, pretty good batting average!
Going back to the post, no information was given on this promo code, other than that it works. It did. Seems like more info. needs to be gotten before being posted. If it’s not a real legit code, meaning some other requirement had to be met or something, then that info. should be included when posted on DD. I prefer deals that are good and are valid… like the majority of the great deals that have made DD such a valuable resource.
The deal and the code were valid. The company created and disseminated the code. However, when they got so many orders, they didn’t want to honor them so they came up with a way out by claiming unless you were specifically targeted for the Code, (i.e., they sent it to you directly), use of it was “unauthorized.” I seriously doubt anywhere in the initial target e-mail did it say the code could only be used by the person to whom the email was sent. Consider, if the Code was sent to your spouse and he/she ordered the socks but used your email does/should that invalidate the purchase? Of course not. The entire thing was dreamed up as an excuse to avoid honoring the promotion.

From my follow up with Uniqlo, it appears that Dan’s act of putting the promo code on this site is what invalidated it.
They are pointing to language on their website that says: “Promo codes found on money saving websites such as promo sites or forums are not endorsed by UNIQLO and are outside of our control. They may be invalid or expired. We therefore cannot authorize discounts under these circumstances.”
When was that language posted on their website?
Called the Customer Service Number late at night. Played dumb and asked why my order was pending and should have been sent already. They said it would be sent immediately. I received my order a few days later.
