Book United Flights From Just $38 Or 5K Miles
Click on the link above to find flight deals from just 5K miles or $38.40 in basic economy. United doesn’t have basic economy awards, so even with a 5K award, you still get regular economy benefits.
- Valid for travel purchased by 11/8
- Valid for travel from 11/22-3/9.
- Valid for travel on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
- Travel is not valid on November 23, 2021, November 24, 2021, November 27, 2021, November 28, 2021, November 29, 2021, December 23, 2021, December 26, 2021, December 27, 2021, and January 2, 2022
- You can buy extra seats if you want to guarantee empty seats next to you by making the first name of the ticket EXTRASEAT with your last name. You’ll even get double your baggage allowance!
- Basic Economy tickets can only be changed if they’re issued by December 31, 2021, for travel commencing by December 31, 2021.
You can change awards for free, though you will pay the difference in miles. You can also refund awards if cancelled 30+ days before the flight (and obvious workarounds are obvious).
For example, a flight from Cleveland to Newark on 12/15 is on sale for $38.40 in basic economy or $63.40 in economy. It’s also bookable for 5,000 miles. That’s not a great mileage value, but the mileage ticket and taxes paid are fully refundable, while the paid ticket can only be refunded to a voucher.
There are also flights on sale for $58.40 and $98.40. I also found several routes not listed via the link above, so be sure to check for more routes.
