    Soooo tempting, but very hesitant.

  2. D

Is the quarantine rule for travelers to Florida from nyc/nj being enforced?

    • Brian

None of the US quarantines are being enforced, which probably explains why the US looks like it does today.

  3. Abe

Anyway to change the ticket to lga

    • Pad18

At this price , take and pay a Uber ! Lol

  4. More Bang for your Buck

I had one of these tix which I had to cancel. AA is letting me use it as an unused ticket and when I rebook if I have to make any changes I have to pay $200. Any way around this or to have it converted to a voucher?

  5. Izz

    Seeing EWR-BOS for $14.10 too.

  6. zMay

Is this a suggestion to buy a ticket and than convert it in to a voucher ultimately locking a low ticket price for 2 years?

    Thank you on your info/advice!

    • Yochai

The voucher is based on price, not route, so will only be worth 14$ either way.

    • Patrick

Did you get any feedback on your question?

  7. yossi

austin prices are no longer valid checking in oct and much more then you posted

    • Dan

Just tried a random October date one-way on Priceline. Worked fine.

      • yossi

i should have been more specific not a single united ticket in oct to austin for this price they are pricing at 119 ,however jet blue is still available.

        • Dan

When more than one airline is listed, the price may be on either airline.

  8. Steve

I paid for my tkts with my United Club card. Does this allow for free carry on and priority boarding?

  9. Than you sir

    Anything mileagerun worthy ?

    • dhammer53

Mileage running isn’t worth it. Let’s say you have top status, your $14 ticket will yield 140 or so miles. If you think that a good run, then YMMV.

      • chaim

What abt to get status. on united PQF are only on reg. economy not basic but with some flight at $90 could it be worth a few runs?

  10. traveller

What if I book a united flight with my ultimate rewards points, will i then be able to add my luggage with the united explorer card and then get reimbursed for me and my companions for the hand luggage and checked luggage?

  11. traveller

If i have the united explorer credit card and i book a flight for me and couple of people using my electronic travel certificate on my united airline account and i add some money to the reservation using my united credit card, will all passengers get the benefits of the card? (Free hand luggage and free checked luggage)

  12. Ny metro

    Ppl are dying of covid
    New funerals last night
    No cheap flights worth it
Stay home and forget about travel for a while
Went to a shiva last night

    Think of your family

Of ppl you may spread to

    No travel tonight
    Not even free

    • Tom

Ever thought that perhaps some are traveling *TO* a shiva for a loved one via air travel? Or required to travel for parnasah? Or traveling for a wedding for a child (and quarantining within guidelines)

  13. Wondering

With United explorer cc, family of 4 traveling
Only 2 suitcases and everybody can take a carry on?

  14. Yisrael

If I pay for part on my united mileage plus card and part travel certificate do I get free carry on and checked bag?

  15. jacob

Yes if part was paid on the united card you will get free carry on and checked bag.
this is a great idea for a chol hamoed trip.
any sukah that you can take on plane?

  16. traveller

I just spoke with united airline and the told me that you could get book as many people as you want on your reservation (even a group ticket) using your electronic travel certificate. As long as you’re flying along, everyone will get a hand luggage for free and all other features that come along with the united explorer card. Only you and one companion will get a free checked luggage. They say that you should add a small payment from your credit card in order to get the credit cards features.

  17. Freebee

I don’t have a united card but I will be adding someone with a united cc to my reservation so that I can get 1 free luggage and hand bag for all passnegers all for $14 each way.

Since this passenger isn’t traveling on the outbound, will I still be able to get the benefits on the return or should I rather book one way tickets.

  18. anon

I don’t have a united card right now if I book with a different credit card and sign up after will I still get free baggage?

      • Abey

Hey maybe you do a post on the whole baggage thing? Partner legs etc

      • Texas Totty

Can I upgrade my United card and then pay for a seat selection to get the card benefits?

  19. Josh

What happens if I book with points and need to cancel for COVID reasons. Any idea if Chase will refund points?

    • Dan

You would get a credit with the airline you booked with as if you paid cash.

  20. Avi

checking for jan 19, price is 72 nwk>orlando adult one way. missing something?

    • Dan

Where did I write that date was on sale??

  21. abe

Is there a maximum how many empty seats I can buy?

  22. E

These $12 tickets don’t seem to be available on those dates anymore. Am I doing something wrong?

  23. Eer

I believe these are no longer available, right?. Checking EWR-CLE United is around $70

  24. Heshie972

    Hi Dan,
I booked a ticket with the offer above going Oct. 5th return Oct. 7.
I just two days ago received an email that they changed return date for Oct. 9.
Trying to change it back to the 7th, the there is now a very big change in pricing.
Is there something to do about it?

  25. Shie 123

Everyone I know that got United (I know of at least 4 reservations) got changed.
    Is there something to do?
