@dan. Any kosher food there?
Been there, done that. Not a heck of a lot of reasons to return to Key West after visiting once. Beaches aren’t great (very rocky because it’s coral), practically nothing kosher (one small falafel joint), over-priced hotels, limited attractions. Had a better time in Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles.
If your going for beaches and food don’t go to Key West. Though if your looking to get out of congested Miami and have great water sports, fishing, feeding tarp fish and beautiful scenery Key West is the place. I stayed at Amoray resort in the Keys great experience with a cabin off the water! Sunset is indescribable
I respect your opinion. When I’m looking to get out of congested Miami, I’ve visited the Gulf coast (Naples, Bonita Springs, Marco Island) and Palm Beach County (I’m talking about the Breaker’s Resort, Four Seasons of PB). Though neither have decent kosher food options, it’s very quiet and spacious (more so than in KW), scenic, Gulf coast has the warm and calm waters– with the sunset on the west (as you’ve described). What we both can agree on, is we will both enjoy microwaving our double-wrapped meals for supper
Key West is gorgeous!
Mamas is the only place. Really good food!
what if I buy the extra seat using the EXTRASEAT name, then when said passenger doesn’t show up, that the airline won’t give away the seat to a standby passenger?
Extra seat means the airline will save a seat for you.
What’s your ethical take when there are standby passengers trying to get on the plane?
What is the dilemma? You purchased 2 seats, you get 2 seats.
What’s the question…? Is it ethical to pay for an extra seat, and the airline fills that vacant seat with another passenger? I’d answer that it most certainly is unethical, stealing, and an issue where a full refund should be provided!
Done in the past. Airline will reserve the extra seat just as they would for a/o else.
Minyan?
No

Thank you, Dan! Booked an 8-day trip in July. Even working part of the time, it will be a great break.
Ummm… what are you doing in July? I can’t read your message, because the potent Key West summer humidity keeps fogging up my glasses…..
Lol. I shortened the trip to only 3 days, after looking at the hotel prices on Key West. So lots of people disagree!
