I don’t get what’s so special about those rates I always paid around that price for my entire family when traveling to Israel with United
Nonstop flights have been trending continually upwards. They haven’t been this low in a while.
If you’re willing to take a stop you can pay much less.
I traveled last year for $800 in the winter time
And I paid $2.15 for gas a year ago.
Good prices are based on recent trends. Gas is up, tickets cost more.

879 are for the first (of the 2 flights) of the day. If I’m flying nonstop I want the night flight from TLV to NYC. If I don’t mind wasting the day on the way home I could just stop off and save a few hundred dollars.
Both flights are available, check other dates.
The day flight is far more comfortable plane in coach though.

No, but you can’t use a GPU on this fare. You need a W fare or higher.

I just got a Mileage Plus offer: trade hotel miles and get a 30% bonus.
Has anyone had any luck getting United to honor their rule about fare reductions for tickets bought from a source other than United? It seems that if you buy a ticket from United and there’s a fare drop within 30 days they will give you a voucher for part or all of the difference. But, only if you buy it directly from United. Not if you buy it from Kayak, Expedia, or a travel agency. Anyone had any luck getting them to do that for them when you bought the ticket from another source???

i went to priceline booked a flight that i thought was direct both ways for 874 however afterwards i saw the itinerary that there is a stopover in Brussels . i tried to call them up for a refund and they do not want to refund me. is there anything i can do ?
