I posted sample deals. There are more available.

      • Sam Curran

Thanks Dan. I have benefitted a lot from your airline deals.

  1. pau

what is the cancellation policy on delta when booked with miles? thanks

    • Dan

Free within 24 hours, otherwise $150.
Awards must be cancelled 72 hours before departure.

      • pau

that is why you never even bothered posting a cancellation policy, after 24 hours it is not worth it to cancel these tickets

      • Eli

Just to clarify, if booked with miles, it can be canceled for a full refund up to 72 hours before departure?

        • Yaakov

you still have to pay the $150 for redepositing miles unless diamond medallion member..i called them to confirm…

  2. jackofall

Not to nitpick but its 11k, not 10k 😉

  3. SHia Weiss

looks like it doesn’t work for the CES 2019 dates.

  4. Helpurslfbyhlpingothrs

Originating on either city or only in my?

  5. Avi

How long does it take to tranfer spg to delta?

  6. APoshiterYid

Nice find, thanks! I’m looking at LAX and most of the fares I’m seeing are valid for OW as well btw.

    • Dan

      You’re seeing 5.5K?
      What dates?

    • jew

      It is 11,000 round trip.
If you want to use 11,000 for one way then go right ahead

  7. chesky

just tried FLL and MIA and its way more expensive

    • Dan

In September/October with the flex calendar?

    • Dan

I value Delta miles at about 1.1 cents each, so 10K miles would be $110.

      • avi

how much do you value SW miles @?

          • duh!

WN is more commonly known as SW, Dan
            😉

          • Dan

Some people use that for Starwood.
Southwest is a fixed value currency, not sure what the question is.

  8. CUN

If canceled when book through awards do you also get back the taxes. Looking at CUN and it’s $80 taxex

  9. Rachel

Any way to have them hold tickets while I transfer miles from starwood?

  10. Ab

Can’t seem to find the 5 weeks filter

    • Dan

Are you on the desktop site using the flex calendar?

  11. Yosef_S

Searching for a variety of dates from ORD-NYC, and only finding the 10K r/t pricing for trips that include a Friday night stay. Is anyone else seeing that or it this just my dates?

    • Yosef_S

On Delta’s site it lists various Domestic mileage sales going on now and all require a Saturday stay. Although this NYC sale is not listed, I’m thinking that the same requirement is applicable here.

  12. rkg27

im not seeing anything from nyc to hou that is non-stop, and very limited dates. Anyone seeing anything different?

  18. chaim

in my search for NYC to LAX, look like they are forcing a saturday stay.

  19. Izz

Seems there is either a minimum stay requirement or Saturday stay requirement. Looking at same day travel, going morning and returning evening. Does not work. Same dates work if returning the next week.

  20. Sam

Which of those cities have straight flights to TLV?

  21. when to sell

Is it better to sell my delta miles now (do they have a higher sale value)?
Or is the price i’ll get later more or less equal?

  22. Danny

Awesome. Just booked tickets to FL for Sukkos!

    Thanks!!

  23. Jason aron

You can go to Cancun for 12,000 miles if you leave out the Saturday. I checked a few weekday options. ($80 I’m international taxes either way)

  24. Mordster

Thank you @Dan. Got tickets to CUN 12k RT.

  25. zow

I think others have noted, but I wanted to add/reiterate that city pairs not including NYC are also included in this sale. For example, just booked BOS-SFO for October for 10K RT pp. (Actually 11,500, because I’m doing one leg in Delta Comfort, just for kicks.) Allows me to cancel my B6 flights, which were 23K pp RT. As always, thanks, Dan.
