FYI …. Century is very strict about checking names/IDs on credit cards, so if you’re going to use Amex cards with family members’ names, you may have an issue there.

so, is it confirmed — does this work with gift cards (especially B&H)? also, the fine print says “Limit up to 3 statement credits per registered Card across all American Express offer channels”. What does the reference to “all American Express offer channels” mean?

Yes, I used it for multiple gift cards (3x on 3 cards, nine $50 cards total) at B&H and it worked.
“…in Manhattan.” Century 21 stores at any location or just the ones listed that are in Manhattan?
@AviK:It means that 1 card can only get 3 credits total even if you register the same card in several different ways. ie with the link, with the ‘offers for you’ tab in your account, etc.

I just bought a $600 monitor from B&H over the phone. The CSR split my payment into 13 chunks (tax made me over 600) which was spread over my 4 cards. Within a minute I had 12 emails from AMEX confirming my purchase with an enrolled card!!

Joe: THATS BECAUSE b&h employees are dandeals members themselves, so they appreciate the need.
Just an FYI- most of these stores are clothing stores, so you have to pay sales tax on the clothes you buy. You can go to almost theses store in NJ and pay no sales tax. In essence Amex is paying your sales tax for you.
Does this apply to amex gift cards or just from the
listed stores?

corrrected. As Dan said it was classy. B & H’s objective is customer service. No commissions they just do a great job. I know several people who work there.
B&h.com wont work. Only in store or by phone. The charge comes up differently. .com comes up as “B & H PHOTO-VIDEO”, by phone – “B&H PHOTO”. I guess that’s how amex knows if its eligible or not. Last night I placed the order online and didn’t get the amex offer confirmation email. I cancelled and then placed it by phone — BINGO.
