Update: Alive again!
Update: DEAD!
Targeted AMEX accounts, including my wife’s AMEX Consumer Platinum card, have a new AMEX Offer for 12K AMEX points after spending $599 at Dell.com through 4/2.
To see if you have AMEX offers in your account just login to your AMEX account, click on any of your cards to go the activity page, click on “AMEX Offers For You,” and save the offer to your account.
Always check all primary and secondary card offers, as secondary cards will often have offers that the primary card does not.
Offers can fill up at any time, so be sure to save them to your account today!
Alas she doesn’t have the offer on her Business Platinum card, where it could be stacked with:
- $200 Business Platinum credit on Dell purchases in both the 1st half and the 2nd half of the year. All AMEX Business Platinum cardholders can register here for this offer.
- 10% statement credit on Dell purchases
- 10% off Dell purchases
- 4 bonus AMEX points per dollar on Dell purchases
- 1 bonus AMEX point per dollar on Dell purchases
Are you targeted for this offer and which of your cards are targeted?
Got it on gold and added it to 2 au’s. Also on wife’s gold.
Got the 12k point one on my gold cardaAnd my biz plat. Thanks
is this the only dp of a biz card
Methinks that….
One of the questions that Dan asked of prospective Shidduchim was…
does she have good CREDIT?
Have it on my consumer cards: Blue Cash Everyday, Bonvoy Amex Card and Hilton Honors Aspire Card.
Not on any business cards though
Can still save/redeem offers on two+ cards or amex clawing back?
Does Dell allow split payments on orders? This may allow two Amex offers (2 different people) to be used on one $1198+ order.
Yes
ye up to 3 cards
Got $120 off on Blue Cash Preferred, nothing on Blue Cash Business.
I had it on my plat delta Amex
Thanks dan! I have it. In the market now for a new laptop.
I just got the offer but it came in the form of cash back spend $599 get $120 back
If you split it it won’t show up as 599 charge at AMEX
why not?
if the half of it is more than 599 it will
so you can (rough math), buy 1200
split with non-business platium (get 120 off 600) and then 200 off 600 on the bus plat half..
Any way to try and get this offer to target me if I don’t see it now?
I have it on the Platinum, as well as the Everyday Preferred.
Correct me if I am wrong, it is probably better to activate it on the Everyday Preferred, since i would get 1.5x on that… or does that not apply to these offers?
Also, any way to make use of it, if i do not have any dell needs currently ?
Thanks, I got it on one card. On a side note – I have an offer from Amex to upgrade my ED card to an EDP card and receive 25k bonus MR points on 2k spend. Do you recommend I take the offer.
Why not?
25k for $100 is a good buy. No credit check, and after the year you can downgrade back to ED.
I am targeted. Now what should I buy??
I got it on my Hilton Aspire. Thanks for the heads-up!
I got in on my evreyday card!
If I don’t see it in offers is there another way to get it?
same boat on bix plat.
TheFollowing code will give you another 10% off I’m 5GQ25QDHL5368J
Thanks for this post, just bought a laptop with my Amex everyday that have $120 off offer.
Also used this coupon to take an extra $50 off $699:
50OFF699
Everyday card. 120 off 599 AND 1 bonus AMEX point per dollar on Dell.com
Looking to buy an XPS 13. the 10% off is working. Anyone have any other good codes? I am split between either buying the old version or paying another 130 for the newer version
Have it on my Blue Cash Everyday. And my Bonvoy.
If you have the 10% off and another offer for Dell to get points. Can you Combine and will it count towards both offers?
We had this before where there were two offers on the same card (% off and points) and you can get both. If the offers are on different cards, you can use up to three cards (ie, three offers), but remember, each offer is only good for the amount charged on THAT specific credit card.
Another side note; if I have an expiring gift card from Dell and I return the item I bought using that gift card, will the gift card still expire?
