DDF user keerbro reports that he found an AMEX Offer for $20 off $50+ at Google Express via using the old AMEX interface.

You may also get an offer for 2,000 AMEX MR points for spending $50+ at Google Express.

As I wrote previously, the old AMEX interface displays more offers than the current website.

You can spend the $50 in one or more transactions through 12/28.

If you are new to Google Express and click on this Google Express referral link you’ll get another $10 off $10. At checkout just click to redeem the $10 code that will be in your account or use code: J654NK3HH

Google Express is pretty awesome. Whenever we need an item from the grocery store or Costco we’ll just order it and have it within 1 or 2 days. I’ve developed quite the habit for La Croix Grapefruit seltzer because of Google. Available stores vary by the region of your delivery address. If you’re in the LA region you can even order from Western Kosher.

Google Express launched with a membership based model charging $99/year after a free trial. However Google Express abandoned the paid membership model in favor of higher free shipping thresholds from most stores.

They also continue to keep adding new stores.

The amount needed for free shipping varies by store. Some have free shipping on all orders while others have $15, $25, $35, or $49 minimums.

It is cool that you can still use an AMEX at Costco with Google Express, as that allows you to take advantage of benefits like extended warranty, etc.

Non Costco members can also order Costco items with a 10% surcharge in most regions.

You can use this link to access the old AMEX Offers interface, which is still compatible with the multi-tab method.

To see which offers you have, just login to your AMEX account, click on any of your cards to go the activity page, click on “AMEX Offers For You,” and save the offer to your account.

If you also have multiple cards with the offer don’t rush to save the offer to your account!  Open up the Offers page for each card in a separate tab in the same browser.  Then go between the tabs to save the offer to each of your targeted cards.  Otherwise once you save the offer to one card it disappears from your other cards.

Always check all primary and secondary card offers, as secondary cards will often have offers that the primary card does not. You can add secondary cards in your own name to your primary login or you can create a new login for other secondary cards.

Note that you only have to worry about an offer disappearing from other cards when they are registered to the same account. Saving an offer won’t affect cards that have their own login.

If you mess up and don’t save the offer to a card you can always remove a card from one login and make a dedicated login for it to register it. Alternatively you can remove the card that has an offer saved to it and the offer will reappear for the rest of the cards registered to that account. Once you properly save the offer to all cards on that account you can re-register the deleted card back to the same account.

Links to old interface not working

I had to do right click to open in new tab, then it worked

I had the same issue. When i clicked any link in the article it opened the google express logo from the top of the article as a larger image on my screen. Only worked to go to the site by right clicking the link and choosing to open in new tab.

I had no luck with this one but guess what I found one which works much better for me:
10K MR points for $500 spent on AMEX Travel. Though I only got that on my consumer Plat.

I got the same thing, but it’s only for hotel bookings, not for flights as I had hoped.

I ordered a Google Home Mini plus a filler to get over $50 after the $10 Dan’s referral code. When the order shipped they adjusted the tax down and the order went under $50. Neither Amex or Google Express will help in any way. So I am returning the order and Google is going to eat the shipping for both ways. Pretty messed up if I must say.
