Unfortunately free points no longer extend the expiration of your Hertz points, you now need to earn or redeem points on a rental every 24 months, other activity no longer qualifies.
Sucks that any car class qualifies for Gold and Five Star tiers, but President’s Circle and Platinum requires a Premium car class or above. Hopefully they dont apply that rule.
