Microsoft gives away Vista Ultimate as well as some other goodies at the end of these 4 hour long free tech events.
They are giving Vista away as no one would buy it. I used it the other day at school and it took 5 minutes to copy a 1mb file to a USB stick. My Mac took about 3 seconds. No joke.
