Wawa is offering free coffee to first responders.

This will be a sample of abusing the system

    • JJ

Why is Crocs Supporting first responders abusing the system?

I think it’s a wonderful gesture to all the brave first responders selflessly helping the sick.

And I am happy to let all of our great first responder readers know about it!

      • Hanky

If someone is not a first responder. I hope people are not pigs

what about grocery managers working around the clock…

  6. Kathy

Has anyone been able to get a pair yet. I forwarded this to my son (firefighter) and his wife(nurse).

  7. S Li

I was happy enough yesterday to just buy a pair for $13. Keeping those and getting another to swap out daily for work. Kudos Croc.

  8. Josh

Thanks Dan and JJ. Great PR for irrelevant Crocs but any healthcare worker that has time to wait on the “line” is not busy helping people with Covid.

  9. BEN

We apologize, but due to tremendous response to our donation efforts, we might not be able to fulfill all requests today. If you do not get through today, please check back at 12 p.m. ET tomorrow to get in line for your free pair.

  10. Josh

We are working extremely hard to donate 10,000 pairs of shoes a day to those working in healthcare, and we plan on doing this for as long as we can. Currently, we have more than 400,000 people in line. All we can do is ask for your patience and understanding as we keep plugging away. We invite you to check back tomorrow at 12 p.m. ET. It is our hope that we can get everyone a pair and do our part.

Do they ask for any proof when submitting the claim? I need to know if should have in hand my work ID or something.

      • Nechemia

Elias I always keep a picture of my hospital ID , so when something like this is offered, I’m ready!

Who does the croc company think they are doing favors to? Do they honestly think that doctors and other health professionals can just drop whatever they are doing to “clock in” at 12.00 on any given day? (excuse me sir, I’ll finish putting your sutures in once I clock in at 12.00 and get my free crocs. I hope that’s alright with you?) So daft!
I would imagine that most people will be busy with their area of healthcare to just drop everything for a free pair of crocs!
If crocs company really wants to help the medical profession then they would drop this time frame and give people a chance to just place their orders without these stupid boundaries!
I think they just want everyone to think highly of them doing this, it is just a gimmick, nothing else.
