American: Fly Round-Trip To Hawaii For 30,000 Miles
-Book by 09/13
-Travel between 09/11/13-12/17/13
-This is only valid for travel on American, so this won’t work on Hawaiian’s nonstop flight from JFK to Honolulu.
-You can also book one-way travel for 15K so say you want to fly on El Al from Tel Aviv to NYC for 45K American miles you can just book Tel Aviv to JFK, stopover in NYC for as long as you want, and then book NYC-Hawaii for the same 45K miles. Then you just need 15K miles to get home (unless you go home for free by tagging it onto a future trip to Tel Aviv for example with a stopover in NYC).
-American serves Oahu via Honolulu (HNL), Kauai via Lihue (LIH), Maui via Kahului (OGG), and the Big Island via Kona (KOA).
West coast people should bear in mind that it will be cheaper to use their BA Avios as it’s only 25,000 Avios from the west coast to Hawaii on American (bookable on BA.com) or on Alaska (searchable on aa.com but bookable only by calling BA).
Plus you can transfer points from AMEX MR (1:1), Chase UR (1:1), and Starwood (20:25) to BA but only Starwood transfers to American (20:25 ratio).
Is there chabad there
where can i search tlv to jfk or hawaii. i searched on the aa link and all it shows is with air berlin and ba but i want the elal flights
I know that one should take time and visit all or most of the islands. But if one can only go for a few days, which would be the best option (factoring in a nice hotel to stay at).
In my view the Big Island is the best. Look at the trip reports.
