Finding a hotel in Bora Bora with standard room award availability can be tricky. Hilton’s Conrad Bora Bora rarely has availability, but currently there is 120K/night standard award space on many dates from now through next April. You can use the Honors flexible search option to find nights with 120K award space.
Hilton credit card holders and elite members get every 5th night free, so 5 nights at 120K points per night would mean an average of 96K points/night. Or Hilton cardholders can use their free nights here.
Paid rates after tax can go for $2,000 per night, making this an excellent value.
You can buy Hilton points for 0.5 cents each with the current promotion, making the cost of a 120K night some $600 or $480 with a 5th night free award.
You can also transfer AMEX points to Hilton at a 2:1 ratio.
While this isn’t an overwater villa, elites can get room upgrades or you can pay to move up to an overwater villa.
- You can use the AA flexible award calendar to find nonstop business class flights from Los Angeles or Seattle to Papeete using 80K American miles.
- You can use the United flexible award calendar to find nonstop business class flights from San Francisco to Papeete using 70K United miles.
- You can search for Air France business class availability from Los Angeles to Papeete for 64K Flying Blue miles plus fuel surcharges.
From Papeete you’ll have to book a short but pricey flight to Bora Bora.
Have you been to Bora Bora? Do you have plans to go in the future?

Wide open? I couldn’t find any five night stays. Some 3 night availability…
I saw plenty of 5 night options when I searched.
nevermind to my previous comment
5 consecutive nights is pretty hard to find as of right now. I see 5 nights at the end of June but not much else. Plenty of 3 or 4 nights. Trying to match up hotel award availability and flight award availability is a whole other story. Not happening that fast. But nobody says your dream vacation is coming to you so easily :).
We went about 12 years ago and spent two shabbos with the community in Tahiti. They had a nice shul minyanim and mikvah and were very welcoming. Went to bora bora and moorea during the week. Supermarkets had some kosher food and basic American products.
Would love to go back.
Dan organize a Yeshiva break trip.
We were on our honeymoon but many resorts had plenty of children.
Orthodox minyan on shabbos?
Yes French Kehillah.
I haven’t been back in over a decade but was a small chevra of shomer shabbos families.
They told me they had a daily minyan was not always reliable but shabbos was no problem.
