Marriott is offering discounts on select resorts with special rates promo code: D3Q
This deal was posted a few weeks ago. Rates are creeping up, but the code is still alive.
The code will save you 15% off regular rates on 3 night stays and 20% off on 4+ night stays through 9/30. Rooms booked with this code are non-refundable more than a day after booking. Taxes and resort fees are extra, continue to the final booking page for the total prices.
Valid South Florida resorts include the:
- S. Regis Bal Harbour
- W South Beach
- Royal Palm South Beach Miami, a Tribute Portfolio Resort
- Marriott Stanton South Beach
- W Miami
The W South Beach is a great hip hotel with multiple pools, which is a nice bonus. I’ve even been upgraded here to a Mega Suite here with a private plunge pool. However it’s off the beaten path for kosher restaurants.
The S. Regis is the more luxurious hotel and has one main pool and one adults only pool. You won’t need a car as you can easily walk from the S. Regis Bal Harbour to dozens of great kosher eateries! There are even restaurants that accept prepaid reservations for Shabbos or you can buy phenomenal Shabbos take-out food from Kosher Kingdom. Or you can eat lunch at The Shul’s kiddush in Bal Harbour that is so extravagant it was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.
On the other hand, I prefer the beach in front of the W South Beach to the S. Regis Bal Harbour, though none of Miami’s beaches compare to the better beaches in the Caribbean and Hawaii.
The S. Regis Bal Harbour is typically far more expensive than the W South Beach, but they are heavily discounting their rooms this summer.
Their winter rates can be astronomical:
Summer rates are typically less for good reason. The Florida heat can be pretty miserable in the summer. On the plus side, you can actually get into a nice kosher restaurant without needing to make reservations weeks in advance like you have to in January.
Rates currently start at $303 plus tax/resort fee:
Here are rates at the W South Beach:
Will you book The S. Regis Bal Harbour, W South Beach, or another hotel with this deal?

I booked four days from 6/30 to 7/4 at a great price. Thank you! But the airfare from any NY airport is INSANE! Any suggestions. I have A United Explorer accounts with 90K miles but hate to waste them on 2 Miami tickets, I also just opened the AMEX Delta Reserver for Business based on your recent recommendation but do not think that I will be able to use it at this point. Am I correct about the Delta card? Do you have any good ideas? Thank you.

Hi Dan,
When I enter the code D3Q under the “Corporate/Promo/SET#” tab, the cheapest rate I’m currently getting is $594. Wondering what I’m doing wrong here. Or maybe they don’t have the $303 rate anymore?
The rate varies by date. To get the 20% off you need to have a 4 night stay by 9/30.
Yes. I input a 4 night stay, 6/7-6/10 (Shavuot) and the rate it gave me was the aforementioned 594.
Again, the rate varies by date.
By the way when I stayed there I rented a car and parked in a parking lot in back of cvs over night and got an $18 ticket and left it on my windshield for 3 days straight and never got another ticket much better than paying $50 a day in st Regis parking
The ideas shared on DansDeals are priceless!
