Unfortunately Flying Blue now charges much more for Delta flights than they used to. However with a 25% bonus, there are still good deals to be had.
For example, a Delta flight nonstop between JFK and Tel Aviv is currently 37K miles. That’s equal to about 29.6K AMEX points with the bonus.
A Delta flight nonstop between Boston and Tel Aviv is currently 36K miles. That’s equal to about 28.8K AMEX points with the bonus.

When I see available Delta award space on delta.com but not showing up on air france site. Should I call in to book it or there is a reason it’s not showing on air france ?
Partner award space is not the same as direct award space.
You can use the Virgin Atlantic’s mileage calendar and filter for direct flights to see a calendar of Delta partner award space.
But sometimes you said that if it’s not visible on the partner site,and you need to call in to book. So how would I know when it’s not showing on purpose or it should be showing and need to call in ?
That’s when the partner doesn’t show any inventory for that partner or route.
How should it be booked?
When i try to pay with points, it looks like the virgin atlantic site doesn’t allow searching for partner awards. I find klm points impossible to find availability with. Just trying to use them for a domestic major route on delta. No availability. Any advice appreciated. (Use delta search engine and then call in if lowest “price”?)
