Staples is waiving the $6.95 purchase fee on $200 Visa gift cards through 12/21 in-store only.
Use your Chase Ink Cash Card or Ink Plus card and get 5 points per dollar spent. Office supply stores never charge a fee for retailer gift cards such as Amazon and hundreds more, but these Visa gift cards can be used anywhere!
You can purchase as many cards as your store will allow in one transaction and the fee will be waived. Some stores may have a limit of 1 while other stores may have no limits.
If you buy 10 of the $200 Visa gift cards you’ll earn 10,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points by charging it to an Ink Cash card. If you use your points at an average value of 2 cents each, then that’s like getting $200 back!
You can use the gift cards to buy money orders at Walmart or at various grocery stores and gas stations. Just use the last 4 digits of the card as the PIN number to cash them out.
Or you can donate the gift card to charity and get a receipt for the full face value while earning 5 points per dollar.
Or you can give away a gift card as a wedding or Bar Mitzvah gift.
Or you can always use it for everyday spending while earning 5% or 5 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per dollar everywhere!
Will any other Chase ink cc get 5 pts per dollar?
There are a few discontinued cards, but the only currently offered card is the Ink Cash card.
Dan, what happens if I used an Amex offer on a purchase and I want to use return protection. Will the credit be based on the original charge amount, or on the amount once the offer was redeemed?
Once again there is no limit listed in the circular although some Staples locations continue to limit 1 card .

I bought nine today at staples and didn’t even realize the fee was waived u til I just read your post, as even the assistant manager had said there was no deal going this week and then I had rambled down to Office Depot where they were featuring the 15.00 off of 300 plus. Nice when you have these surprises:)
My Ink Cash card has a 10% back Staples offer, that should give back $20 in addition to the 5 points.
