Staples is waiving the $6.95 purchase fee on $200 Visa gift cards through 1/18 in-store only.
Use your Chase Ink Cash Card or Ink Plus card and get 5 points per dollar spent. Office supply stores never charge a fee for retailer gift cards such as Amazon and hundreds more, but these Visa gift cards can be used anywhere!
You can purchase as many cards as your store will allow in one transaction and the fee will be waived. Some stores may have a limit of 1 while other stores may have no limits.
If you buy 10 of the $200 Visa gift cards you’ll earn 10,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points by charging it to an Ink Cash card. If you use your points at an average value of 2 cents each, then that’s like getting $200 back!
You can use the gift cards to buy money orders at Walmart or at various grocery stores and gas stations. Just use the last 4 digits of the card as the PIN number to cash them out.
Or you can donate the gift card to charity and get a receipt for the full face value while earning 5 points per dollar.

Gift cards at Staples have been 90% of my charges on my Ink card over the last 3-4 years with never a problem. I do try and add an item so that the charge isn’t always an even amount like $1200 or $1400 each time I guy the fee free Visas.

I tried buying a money order from walmart using a visa gc and they it wasnt working and then the rep said you cant pay with a gc. anyone else have this issue?
