Hey Dan, me and my wife are planning a trip out to LA in the end of December. I went ahead and signed up for the Starwood cards for both of us. I was just curious how long it takes for 10,000 points for each card to show up in my spg.com account? Do I just need to wait till my next billing cycle? Thanks!

regarding the deal for the free credit report (http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/2828) does the credit report count as a credit check? (in the sense of affecting your credit score)?
the deal with the $50? any reciept? money spent at the grocery? at a store with a return policy?
Checking your own credit does not count as a credit check.
Any receipt should be fine for the $50.
