it does not print color.
@FYI: Monochrome is a fancy way of saying Black and White, the reson they use the term Mono Chrome and not B&W, becase 1. It does not print white 2. It does not only print black, it prints all shaded on the black spectrum (greys). Mono=1 Chrome=Wavelength of color.

FYI this is the same printer that was on lightening sale by Amazon last week for $94.99. I purchased it last week. When I saw this today, I chatted with Amazon and they issued me a $10 refund due to the price drop.
