iIs there any good deal for the model 2597lmt gps?
I also bought one of those 2 wks ago. Can I put it back into box & return?
@zanvel: from where?
@eli: gosh seriously?
@new guy
What does gosh seriously mean? I have waze and google maps . Why would one need this?
@eli, the lane assistance is a major thing that waze App doesn’t have..
Awesome GPS, Great deal, I bought one, thank Dan.
While I’m on the road, I always make phone calls (and texting), so I have no use from my phone GPS
Had bought it on cyber monday for 131.99, called and they gave me a price adjustment. Just to know, guy said they’d price adjust anything within 7 days of receipt.
@hi. On amazon, can I put it back in box & return for a credit?
Thank you Dan, had purchased this on black friday in costco for $139.99+tax. now through your site link paid $81 after tax, after 33% off! Thank you Dan , amex and amazon. keep ’em deals coming.
@yaako: free is a major thing that garmin doesn’t have..
now its 139.99
really people still use dedicated gps devices? a decent (actually rather good) used smartphone on ebay costs less than this “deal”, and even without service (for those who think well if i dont have a data plan now what smart guy) many (most in fact) have built-in standalone gps chips. you can use google maps, waze, or many other gps apps, and don’t worry. soon enough they will have lane assist. plus, you have a smartphone!
p.s. you can buy a mount for your dash, and it would STILL be cheaper.
@also:
Google Maps/Waze will not work properly without data.
@Dan: i wont claim to be an expert, but from experience i dont think that is true. i have used google maps on a phone with no active data connection. you only need to be connected to wifi when you input the destination so it can contact the server to download directions, and that’s not even true with some gps apps.
but again ymmv.
i use them in israel not bad however u can use waz now just as well or israelapp with apple
upset that i didnt get this deal….. any good deals now for 5 inch screen with lmt?
