It’s rarely discounted and is an excellent gift idea. The biggest advantage of it over traditional games like Risk or Monopoly is that you are forced to quickly change your strategy every time you play as the board is set up randomly and is never identical as the last time. Plus it can be played in just 1-2 hours. (If you have a lot of players you should buy the 5-6 player expansion pack. It’s not included in this sale.)
I haven’t yet played Catan Histories: Settlers of America Trails to Rails, but I’m buying it now 😀
