I bought it from Dell’s 2 weeks ago by going to their deals/outlet tab. I put in a .edu email to save an extra $10 and the total after tax and shipping (free) was $420.

And outlet computers are typically used.
Plus no tax with Amazon for most people and ~9.5% off with Freedom or Ink cards means that even if Dell is $40 cheaper it will still be worth buying from Amazon.
Is it better to use the Amex Biz Starwood card for the extra year warranty or the ink card for ~9.5%off?

Really a matter of personal preference, but don’t forget to factor that the Starpoints are worth about 2.2 cents, so the question is if you would rather have an extra year warranty or 7.3% off.
