Amazon and Walmart are in full war mode today with Walmart offering insane in-store pickup prices and Amazon matching them with free shipping.
It seems more sustainable for Walmart as it’s far cheaper for them to offer in-store pricing than it is for Amazon to ship it. However people are more inclined to buy from Amazon and have them ship items to their door than have to pick them up from Walmart.
Either way, both companies are offering completely unsustainable deals, so it will be interesting to see what the end game will be.
But it’s great to see Walmart finally making themselves relevant online. Consumers will be the true winners of this war, no matter how it plays out.

If you don’t have a Walmart near you, it may be worth ordering several deals to your nearest Walmart. If you find enough bargains you may find it worthwhile to schlep over there. If you don’t pickup your order by the pickup deadline you will be automatically refunded for the order. Of course if Amazon price matches your item, you can cancel the Walmart order and have it shipped to your door from Amazon.

i have had bad experiences
As someone who has a Walmart 5 minutes away I would much rather buy something that i’m not certain I want to keep and may return from Walmart rather then return too many things to amazon and suddenly have my account shut down
Watch out from Walmart, they have terrible customer service, if Amazon have same price, you have to be crazy to buy from Walmart

@Dan – Can you please post everything in one simple “Amazon Deals Roundup” like you have done in the past? (every day, not just today). It’s a lot neater when scrolling through. You can make 2 categories, one for Amazon, one for Walmart, or you can just merge them both together on one list.
