Eh. Dan, this deal isn’t so hot. Garmin’s a good name, don’t get me wrong (especially in standalone GPS devices), but when it comes to Bluetooth GPS pucks you’re just paying for name recognition.
Holux rules the kingdom of Bluetooth enabled GPS pucks (look up the reviews if you don’t beleive me), and is half the price of this without a “friday sale”.
Holux is one of those companies that doesn’t make stand-alone GPS units, so no one’s heard of them. But they are one of the best and waaaaay cheaper than this!
