Might be an idea to get the split california king from walmart at $653 and use it as 2 (narrow and long) twin beds.

Look around in your area but in mine it looks like they carry them at Walmart, Target and some Sears (if you still have any).

How do you know when it will be delivered?
Amazon emailed me when it was shipped out that the cargo shipped. Then the carrier in my case xpo called me to schedule delivery and Amazon followed up the night before the delivery to confirm the delivery time.
