These are great for Shabbat use. The iPhone app lets you program on/off events based on the day(s) of the week and include time settings for each. As a bonus, it can be set to turn off/on at sunrise/sunset so you don’t have to keep changing the settings throughout the year. You can choose sunrise/sunset settings and 1-59 minutes before or after sunrise or sunset.

Just remember the wattage limit. In the old days with incandescent bulbs the limit was significant. It is really hard to overdo it with LED bulbs.
