I bought one last year, had similar sale around this time last year, shaatnez was no problem.

I’ve had a Hilfiger suit and it wasn’t shaatnez. Not particularly high quality either.

I bought my son suit separates from Macy’s -they had a big sale on Tommy Hilfiger this past weekend. Jacket and matching pants ran about $191 with the 20% off.
is trim fit as tight as slim fit and if its not how big of a difference is trim fit then regular fit?

Trim is not as slim as slim.
But there’s free returns, so nothing to lose by getting a couple sizes.
To say that it was originally $650 would mean that someone out there actually paid full retail price for this, which isn’t the case. Anyone spending this much (or little actually) on a suit would be better served finding a Brooks Brothers Outlet and spending $100 more for a suit that is twice the quality and fits better, not to mention doesn’t have the negative connotation that comes with Hilfiger, which went out of style in the 90s.
