AMEX Consumer Platinum cardholders can register here for $50 cash back on up to $50 of spending at Saks.com and Saks Fifth Avenue every January-June and $50 cash back every July-December.

You should always try to use these offers at least a few days before the deadline so that it has time to post to your account and trigger the credit before the 6/30 and 12/31 deadlines.

Get free shipping with code: FREESHIP or receive free 2 day shipping on eligible items and free return shipping with Shoprunner. (Don’t have a Shoprunner account? If you have an AMEX you can signup for free for life!)

Sample Men’s Items:

While the terms don’t officially allow for gift cards, you will get reimbursed for physical gift card purchases, based on my experience. Unfortunately, those are only sold for a minimum of $150 online, so you would effectively get a 33.3% discount on those. Online eGift cards won’t work.

However, you can buy $50 gift cards in Saks Fifth Avenue stores and those will be reimbursed in full based on my experience. However some people have reported getting those credits clawed back.

While this offer is not valid at Saks OFF 5TH, gift cards bought from Saks will work at both Saks and Saks OFF 5TH.

Post what items you’ll be buying with your $50 spend credit!

Thanks for the reminder. I actually have the biz plat so it reminded me to spend on Dell.

What about the Dell credit? Are there gift cards available for purchase? Will they trigger credit?

Are additional cardholders allowed to take advantage for additional 50 off?

Does the delta card qualify for the Saks offer?

  5. Yoko

Does it make sense that my card doesn’t have this benefit? I click on the link and don’t see it anywhere

will I get reimbursed the $50 if i refill an existing saks fifth ave gift card online?

I’m surprised that there have been reports of physical, in-store gift card purchases getting clawed back. How could AMEX know you bought a gift card? Does Saks provide L3 data to AMEX?

      Me too.
My guess is that its from people that signed up for the card and canceled within 12 months, which can trigger a clawback of everything.

An idea that most likely will work, is buying something for $50 in store and then return it for store credit (not a refund) so it should affect anything on your credit card and you would still earn the credit
