Can this work with a two-line phone (two virtual lines – one phone number).. Say to conference in two outside lines?

    • Moe

You need the OBi 202 instead of the OBi 200 for two lines.

    • Dan

You can bring the OBi anywhere in the world.

      • Sammy

@chaya. It can be brought anywhere but the phone number would be an American one from Google. However, maybe you can port over a Canadian number.

    • Moe

You’ll need to sign up for Google Voice from an American internet connection or from an American IP address.

You also must have an American phone number issued by Google.

  2. Shon

Any suggestion on the cheapest way to port a 212 area code number to this? I understand I might need to move this to a prepaid cell number first.

    • Moe

Move to prepaid cell then move again to Google.

      • Shon

Thanks but which is the cheapest prepaid cell deal? I can bring my own device from an old phone that I have replaced.

        • qsman

Doesnt matter. It takes less than a day to move the number off the cell to google

  3. JustWingIt

Sorry, not seeing it, but is there an expiration date for this coupon?

  4. AB

How do you pick up voicemails with a machine like this?

    • Dan

They’re saved by Google Voice. You can listen to them online.

  5. Aaron Hauptman

Don’t understand. If you can only port this with a cellphone linked to Google Voice, how can you make calls through your landline?

  6. Marky

Not sure if it’s a pro or a con , OBI is now Polycom

    • Anonymous

Sounds like a pro. Means to me that it will stick around for a while and is worth buying.

      • Marky

        Good point.theyve proven their value

  7. Avrohom

Is there any way to still get a Vanity Number from Google Voice?
