1and1 u can register for as many years as you want, even if your just regiestering for the 1 yr… so basically, pretty dumb post…
godaddy is known to pull-the-rug from underneath many of their customers. As far as hosting is concerned, there are much better choices out there: 1and1, bluehost, lunarpages. and if you need a registrar, gandi.net is by far the best. (based in France, 12 Euros/year) Powerful BIND customization for your own DNS, A,C, or MX records or anything else, and they have a good company ethic.
