Dan, I hope you or someone out there can help me.
I was bumped from an elal flight together with 2 of my kids and now we want to use them for flying to Israel.
My problem is that I want to take one my other children with me and I was hoping to be able to do a mileage ticket with AAdvantage miles. (this child was not bumped and doesnt have a elal voucher)
I can not get a ticket with the AAdvantage miles. It is not available.
Maybe someone out there has enough Matmid points for a trip and would be willing to switch with me for the AAdvantage miles.
AS OF NOW EL AL SAID THAT THAT THERE IS SPACE STILL FOR A MATMID POINTS TICKET ON THE DAYS THAT WE NEED.
I also may be able to give someone continental miles if that would work better.
I cant use the Continental for my child because she is a Minor and I can not send her alone.
I hope someone out there can help out.
