Be sure to save a screenshot if you order!
This sells for $249 from Amazon.
You can also use this as a computer monitor.

Can the gift card be sold?
can the tv be returned and keep the egift cards?
Free returns?
Can you use both ecards on the same purchase?
Is it a $225 card? The link I saw was a $125 card
Dan, total to NJ shipped is $297 makes sense?
No way too add to cart, just says added to wish list
can this screen be used as a computer screen?
are there free returns?
1)How hard is it to sell GCs?
2)At what percent of value?
can this be used as a pc monitor? I see it has HDMI port .
in for 1
Thank Dan
From the Dell online store: “Promotional card not valid if eligible product is returned for a refund. If eligible product is returned for a refund after the card has been redeemed, the value of the redeemed card will be deducted from the refund amount.”
the website keeps on crashing
@mike:

Got it, plus got screenshots of the pages! Thanks!
@Dans the Man: not worth it unless if it fits in the casket
@Anonymous: Thank you!
Works fine as a computer screen.
You can sell them on ABC gift cards at a %15 loss.
$225 = $191.25
Total cost of TV after NY tax: $302
Total cost of TV after selling gift cards: $110.75
I wouldn’t buy a whole bunch, but this is an awesome deal on a TV if you need one.
@daniel:
lol
Selling the promo codes for 200$. Email me at jdlevine31@gmail.com if interested in the codes.
Any reason to stop at 1?
i forgot to take a screenshot does that matter?
you can sell the gift card @cardpool.com
they buy dell $225 gift cards for for $190.
Got one for my mom!! My husband gonna kill me too…
How about purchasing something with the gift card and then selling on ebay??
@Barry:
Yes, several reasons:
-Dell may not honor the gift cards without putting up a fight.
-At the end of the day, you are not getting it for free, you are essentially paying $110 for a $250 machine.
-You lessen the chances of Dell honoring it.
-You hurt other people’s chances getting one.
Will sell codes for $200 as well…
email eddy0090@gmail.com
got 1. yay. though i see its a 720p shouldnt be too bad though
In for one. Screenshots in hand.
Thanks Dan!
from my experience these won’t be easy to sell. As promotional gift cards can not be combined with regular giftcards and I believe Dell only allows 1 giftcard to be used per order. Also these expire within 90 days. I doubt cardpool or any of the other gift card places will be buying thse.
im cancelling my order. dont need tv (ch”v) thanks Dan anyways..
From Dells site
“If the balance on your gift card is not sufficient to cover your order, you may combine your gift card with Dell Preferred Account using the link below. Otherwise, you may be asked to pay the balance by credit card.
Limit of one gift card can be applied per order. If you have multiple gift cards to redeem, please call 1-800-289-3355 for assistance.
Funds from Promotional Gift Cards cannot be merged with funds from any other Promo Cards or other Dell gift cards of any kind.”
Does the egift card expire in 90 days?
whats the return policy ?
In for 50. Let’s hope this works.
JUST TO CONFIRM, THE GIFT CARD IS FOR $125 AND NOT $225, IS THAT CORRECT?
@Samuel:
Gd forbid you should have a computer screen or something to play video or games on…
@david:
Did you read the post?
Besides for a computer screen you may also need a new keyboard, your shift key seems to be stuck.
I want to use this as a computer monitor, is it worth it?
most gift card resellers will NOT ACCEPT THESE!! the quote that was listed from abc was for physical gift card not an egift card!!@Gift cards:
@Dan: oops just saw your response 🙂 🙂
In the order conf email it only mentions the $100 gift card.
My confirmation Dan doesn’t mention the gift cards. Should I wait till I receive my order to call them or do it now?
@jak:
As long as you have the screenshot there’s nothing to worry about.
If they don’t come in a few weeks you can call Dell to get it and if there’s any issue you can always do a chargeback for that amount with your credit card.
Looks like Dell just fixed the site; it is no longer showing the extra $100 egift card. I wonder if they will honor it even though we have screenshots…
only showing 125$ promo now
@baxterboy12:
jerk
anybody want one ? I just bought one, and I don’t need it.
It sais -$42 is going to take it off of gift card caus that was the amount of the discount?????????????
In for 1 for the man cave! Thx!
Selling the promo codes for 199.99
I have a $300 promo gift card that i will sell for $265 if someone wants to use it toward the TV. Email me at tbird1706@gmail.com.
My order confirmation email isn’t showing any gift cards at all
I have a screen shot showing both gift cards
Do gift cards always show in the confirmation email?
@Dan
Relax… I already have 3 laptops dond have place for tv screen
The item is now sold out.
BREAKING! I just called to cancell my order I said screen is to big. They offerd me I should keep it for $25 cheaper. I refused but however wants can try to ,akebelieve cancell and get for cheaper!
I Ment whoever, makebelieve. Sorry
720p is definitely not ideal for use as a computer monitor. you’ll have less desktop space than what you’re used to on a standard monitor.
@Levi:
If you have a screenshot don’t sweat it.
@Samuel:
I’m always relaxed. Having an extra screen a nice thing.
@thedude:
Depends. Plenty don’t like 1080p because it makes things very small.
Dan, now that this is dead, can you give us your take on the new IHG mastercard from Chase offer. It looks even better than the 80000 point visa offer they used to offer.
Wow, Glad I got the twitter feed and Dan thank you for the reminder about the screenshots. I got the 2 e-gifts, but I am on the phone now with Dell because they immediately changed it to one and I think it was a mistake. Too bad for them. I just emailed all my screen shots. They are now sold out.
So I forgot to take a screenshot….now what?
they say it’s too late to cancel.
@moshe. You have a spare email?
anybody wana sell just the tv for 200 bux contact me please
James can you send me screenshots?
so what do we do now?
i have a screen shot – but what better proof is it than dan’s original screen shot?
they can’t cancel it
seems like I’ll be out the money to ship this back…
lesson learned – don’t jump in on a junky complicated deal
@Jay yes
@Barry – Its a good deal they are honoring it. I was on the phone and emailed them my screen shots and they gave me a case number
You can get rid of the egift dell cards at giftcardgranny.com for 85% face value. I’m not sure how the 90 day expiration would come into play though
Also a little extra info – They said you can’t combine 2 promotion codes on a single buy. However, you can with a credit card as a third item to use for the purchase. So use the two gift codes up and pay the balance with a card
@need tv: I would sell for $200. Not sure how to contact you though.
@James: I also didn’t take the correct screenshots. Which screenshots did you send them? Did they ask you for proof, or were they going to honor it without them? What would they need to see in a screenshot that isn’t included in Dan’s?
can someone email me their screen shots so I can compare to mine (as I don’t see this as such good proof that order went in)
thanks
how do people see others emails to email them?
You guys got the e-gift cards already??? I didn’t get any…
Any one who wants the TV for $200 please email me at natie2020@gmail.com and will work something with you.
People that are emailing screen shots to Dell, are you going through chat or email? chat keeps kicking me off. Dell customer service on the phone claims it’s not valid, not that I would trust them anyway. I hate Dell, so I hope I get alot of goodies from them. Lousy Customer Service and incompetent employees works both ways 🙂
Hi! I will sell you the TV for $200.
Email me at: samstudent.1@gmail.com
Dan, why are these deals in the daily email if they’ve been dead for nearly 3 hours? I appreciate this site, but its quite frustrating to see a deal like this after its dead. Id rather not see it at all.
@Jake:
So unsubscribe.
I don’t make the emails, Google just takes everything posted in the past 24 hours and sends it out.
If you want live deals then follow me on Twitter:

TV for $200. yismoish@aol.com
@Jake: Sounds like someone should be signing up for text alerts via Twitter. All the cool kids are doing it. 🙂
@Jake:
#idiot
Anyone want the tv name your best offer I’m in Brooklyn.
Yaz906@aol.com
@Jason: I took five screenshots and they all look similar to Dans. I took one like Dan’s, and a couple of the same page with part of Dan’s still showing, but focusing on the upper part of the webpage, and then a couple lower shots which still show a part of the main one like dans in each shot. That way they could see the start of the order and the totals.
If anybody wants it, pm me before I cancel !!
@Jason: I think if you have something and you are proactive about it and call them, they will open a case for you and they were easy to deal with. Just maybe give them what you have and explain that when you started the order all the way through checkout you recall the two e-codes for $100 and $125 being on there. The reason I called was because if you check your order status, you can’t see the codes you got. I searched around the site trying to find info on my order and those two e-codes. I knew if I lingered around I would probably get lazy about it in there and it would be harder to deal with. They know that it existed for a short period of time, because they fixed it to display one code like it should have had. You never see orders with two ecodes like that. I’m sure at least someone else called or emailed besides me, so they know. Call them up, send them what you have with a quick email unless it doesn’t show anything, and just say you were trying to search and print your order status so you remember that you have the two encodes, but can’t find it on the website.
@shmu:
They told me the same but offered $50 credit to keep it which i gladly took
Screeshots: I ruffed them up a little just because

@Anonymous: wow that tv was about free for you
thanks
Just called Dell to confirm and both egift cards are being honored and I got a case #. They will be e-mailed 10-20 days after item is shipped and they can be used in one purchase via phone order, not online. My husband orders things from Dell all the time so this was a great deal, thanks!
will sell tv email me r1b1srbs@gmail.com
@James: James, thanks so much for all of your advice and help. I called up Dell and just like MG, I was told that I will receive BOTH gift cards. I also had them send me a confirmation email that I will receive both gift cards in addition to the TV, just in case they decide to pull a fast one on me. Hopefully this all works out!
And of course, thanks to Dan for this great deal!
Will sell TV in Lakewood PM or respond
Received email that TV is already on its way. Now just need the egift cards; looking for a new computer so these gift cards will really bring down the price.
Thanks Dan
I noticed just 1 ecard like most are reporting and completed my order. I used PayPal and never received order confirmation from dell and currently have a pending PayPal for 302.?? (With tax). I just called and the rep told me they have no knowledge of any order based on my phone. I asked for a sup and was hung up on… What do I do?
@james
Thanks
If you order more than 1 you get $125 gift card per TV and then another $100 gift card per order
@Anonymous
Go [censored] yourself. I will unsubscribe, since most of the good deals are dead by the time the emails go out, and apparently there is nothing the site owner can do about it.
Jake actually Dan does his best to get them up ASAP … If you want real time follow him on twitter and get it sent your phone… otherwise unsubscribe we dont need you on here
my tv arrived today… i had emailed dell via website with query.. on reply. I called again today. somehow they have no record of the egift cards… but recommend i wait 20 days to see what happens.
any one actually get their card?
does anyone’s email confirmation even show 1 gift card (mine shows none)
@Bryan: ”
I usually don’t comment but I concur!
Any one got their gift cards yet just got my large computer screen:)
@Bryan
The issue is not that deals die, that’s inevitable. The issue is that most of the good deals are dead by the time emails go out. Dan should really do something about that. If the good deals in an email are dead, that’s basically an unwanted email, which is spam. I follow Dan on twitter but I’m not a twitter addict so I run into the same problem. I’ll be signing up for SMS alerts.
P.S. I’m just trying to make the site better, and eliminate something that many people find frustrating. I’m sure there is a way to flag dead posts so that Google doesn’t include them in automated emails.
@Jake: Actually, there isn’t.
Its an automated process that has nothing to do with me.
I called Dell again today. Customer service line.
They confirmed that I will get both cards! Within 20 days of shipment. I still have the unopened tv. We’ll keep you’ll posted.
FYI for those that want to save time trying to reach the returns dept here is a direct number I got 1800-624-9897 Ext. 2169555
Enjoy
PS. I’m returning 2 and keeping 1, I don’t have the time to fight the issue 3 times and deal with the hassle of the gift cards unless someone here has a sure way of selling these PROMO gift cards
@Nathan: Why would you return 2??? You own them for $75 a piece and they are worth $250+. I already sold 2 out of the 3, and should sell the last one today. I called Dell and they said it hasn’t been 10 days yet, but I should receive emails within 10-20 days. If they don’t hold up their end, I’ll just dispute the charges. Not much of a hassle to make over $500.
@need tv: i may want to
if you still need one email me mojomofo16@gmail.com
did anyone get there gift cards yet?
@gift cards: I still have not received the gift cards yet and as per the following:”Agent (Ruby R): “Gift cards arrive 10-20 days after you receive the TV. For more information, you can contact our Customer Care Department at 1-800-624-9897. They are open from 8am – 9pm CT (Mon-Fri) and 10am – 7pm CT (Sat-Sun).”:
I still have another week until the 20 days hit…

I just got my egift card at 12:30 today. I sold 2 of them on ebay to the same guy and he would buy more today as he get’s 10% off today. Sold at $210 and ebay takes $21 and paypal takes around $6/7. Gut shabbos.
@anonymous

@phillyjew: Jovy Paily he might still buy it if you haven’t sold it buy now.
@Anonymous
THANK YOU, I SPENT IT ALREADY
@David:
David, how were you able to get that? The price protection policies clearly state that it does not apply for internet purchases…?
Received my Gift Card! Any ideas on how to sell them?
