Update: DEAD!

HP ENVY 15.6″ Core i7 Windows 7 Laptop Linky
This system is normally $899.99 but is on sale for $559.99. When I posted it 2 weeks ago it was on sale for $699.99

Ok, I think this might be the cream of the crop with dual amex hp offers. Can you please give list of recommended upgrades?
@Mike B:
Definitely the best I’ve ever seen.
I listed the 3 upgrades in the post that I’d go for. 1080p, battery, and backlit keyboard.
1080p Resolution + Backlit Keyboard. Everything else can be added later for cheaper and you would keep current parts.
@MikeB
DHDataREcovery recommends the back-lit keyboard and 1080p Resolution.
Enjoy
Thanks. I got one and I am going to either sell or return the one I bought from Dell. This is an awesome deal.
I got it two weeks ago but it will arrive VIA FedEx friday.
Is there a way to get them to price match it so I dont have to go through trouble of returning etc…
is this still alive?
The site is down. Maybe the deal was too good.
looks like its dead
Link doesn’t seem to be working.
Dan,
Any suggestion. I ordered with Amex business Platinum the HP on around the 5/23 deal you posted for the i7 15.6. I paid 604.99 before shipping(42.35). It included $25 Coupon and $170 instant off. I only got credited for open Savings of $15 & $7.37 2 separate transactions(not sure why). I ordered it on 5/23 and it got delivered on 6/4- 6/8.
Is there any way to replace so I get the better price?
Also is there anyway to know if I registered any cards for the 75 off?
If we hopped on the previous Envy offer with the 2 amex discounts there’s no way to get in on this, correct?
is this deal still alive?
Looks like they are not honoring the the $170 instant rebate, so the cost $170 more than shown here. Too bad!
seems to be a price mistake
I meant twice the $170 rebate. They are giving one rebate for $170 not 2. In any case the price is $170 more than shown here.
I just spoke to HP the site is down because it is a price mistake, they took the rebate off twice by mistake making it 589. He said they weren’t going to honor the price even if your order went through.
What’s a good extended warranty for these laptops? Anyone…
@AP:
Use an AMEX and 2nd year warranty is free.
I used 2 to purchase the deal like you said. Will that work? They don’t do theft and drops…do they?
PS: I used Blue Cash Back and Costco Amex cards
@Mark:
The AX Open Savings is 3% up to $500, then 5% > $500. (>$1500 gets you a 10% rebate.)
@dan,hp site is down but if you call the 800# to order they will honor it!!!
@dan,ok i just found out that hp.com made a mistake on the price,it was suppose to be for $729.00 but apparently two rebates were attached to it and it came down to that low price,which HP is not offering! so if you ordered it-it will be canceled they say,sucks!
price showing $ 799
@manny:
Yes, read the post update.
@Dan
If I can get phone rep to honor, does the AMEX hp promo work for phone orders?
What is the current best hp/amex promo for a fourth Gen i7?
It’s showing a sale price of $729.99 ;-(
Upgrade the keyboard. Its the best.
Looks like they’re not honoring the price mistake
@Benr- it’s cheaper on amazon
