Staples reward members never pay shipping!

To get your free shipping as a reward member:
Go to the bottom of the checkout page where you enter your credit card info, in the “Staples Customer Numbers” section and click on the “edit number” button, then click OK without actually changing the customer number-
On the final checkout page it should then display the free shipping!!!
How do I get out of my cingular contract, avoiding the cancellation fee?
there is no more free shipping unless you spend like $1000 a year.
dan,first time long time.great site.thanx.need some help. i’d like to go to mexico on 9/6-9/10 with aa advantage miles.my sisters sons bris iy’h on 9/7.thing is citi has promo for 22500 till 9/6 which gets even better on 9/7 for 17500,instead of 30000.but they say both ways must be COMPLETED in those specific timeframes.any advice please.asap if possible.thanx for your time

I dont spend anywhere near $1K/year at staples and the method i posted works just fine for free shipping.

dan,i spoke with a “supervisor” and he tells me these dates are ‘written on stone’ and there’s no messing around with them.it seems ludicrous, especially for a bonus ticket. don’t they want you to feel good about this.any other ideas,maybe from an AA partner (btw if you verified what you wrote back please let me know who to contact) thanx again.
when was the last time you got free shipping- the policy was changed a few months ago. you can check at the rewards site if you like. the only people who get free shipping always is the teachers rewards preogram- a totally separate program for teachers.
I dont care what the policy says, i just bought a $2 item from staples yesterday, and following my method the shipping was free.
