Hey Dan, Sorry i know this has nothing to do with this post but i am having a diffucult time dealing with Avis. I cant figure out there rewards program. I rented a car with them last week and i cant find out how many points i have with them, or even if they have a point system. I see that i can link up a FF # with them, is this the only way to get points??? THanks!

@Yaakov: i tried in israel and it got fried u have to buy a special converter that changes the intake voltage from 220 to 110

Just to let everyone know, I have this mixer and you can NOT use it with 5lb flour. The machine can not handle such a heavy dough. It is not a Bosch. I love it for everything else, though.

Are you sure she doesn’t split the batch? Because I tried a couple of times and there was such a bad burning smell, and the machine just stopped working. Actually just used it tonight with half a bag of flour, and just barely managed to mix it all and knead it. Maybe you can find out her secret? After buying this I do not want To buy a Bosch but its making nuts

Seems like you can’t get the $50 + $24 rebate if you are buying this as a gift unless you want to cut the UPC code out of the box & take the mixer out of the box to get the serial number.

the deal is not gone it is available the whole week on line @ kohl’s .com i was just checking it, I was comapring the mixer to amazon.com which has free shippping and no tax. no matter where you purchase the mixer the rebate is from the company and available until the end of december

I had ordered the Kitchen Aid but while filling out the Rebate Form I see that the qualifying models are only: KL26M, KP26M, and KP26N. There is no option for Model number: KSM150PSQG0 which is the 6 Quart Model you shared. What can be done?
FYI – we received a letter from Kitchenaid stating that we do not qualify for the rebate. CALL THEM if you get this letter!!!! – beacuse after we called, kitchenaid company said they had made a mistake and they will issue the rebate.
