just to be more specific. Rare did not go out of business, it moved a few blocks away into tower 41(4101 pine tree dr.)

Shalom Pizzeria and Citron and Rose (Philadelphia) are both not accepting the certificates and told people who asked that they were never even contacted by restaurant.com. I called and requested a refund but immediately after that got an email that “Exchange Required” because the site contacted the restaurants to find out after many calls requesting refunds and automatically emailed everyone who purchased those certificates.

Same for Rare in Miami. Not accepting the cert. They say it was unauthorized and they are in the midst of a lawsuit against Restaurant.com. They gave me a $12 credit to offset the purchase price of the cert but would not give the $50.
