I just called they didnt let me use the code on sale item, paid 39.99 plus tax

dans code is the subscribe email code, so no need to subscribe
I was able to apply the code selecting multiple items, is a fixed discount of 8 dollars, so no matter how many watches you buy it will discount $8, may restrict some items, you can try a different item if the code did not apply
Code originally works but once you get to the payment page or says it can’t be applied
