I just got an Amex Business PLAT thinking I could get into ANY partner club. I would fly this Jetblue FLL-JFK, but do you think I could access the local Delta Club in FLL if I wanted? Or do they strictly enforce the “you must be flying a Delta flight” rule? I know it’s YMMV, but any general rules of thumb?
Cheapest from FLL to NYC is $150 each way. Not a deal.

The discount will only show up once you select both flights (for a roundtrip).
Flights do not need to be priced the same. It’s 50% off the total cost before tax.
make sure you capital THEWANTED and the discounted price should show on THE RIGHT SIDE……

The amex plat only gets you in a skyclub if you’re flying delta that day. Only a sky club membership will get you into a skyclub even if your not flying delta

It works from LAX or Burbank but not an impressive deal even at 50% off cuz the fares are super high

@Will: You must be flying on Delta metal to access Delta lounge with Amex Plat. Only US Airways allows lounge access with AMex Plat. if you are flying on other airlines, hope this helps.
