Igal, if you are waiting or hoping for your dad to help you with the return trip, then respectfully Cancun is not going to be for you. When you land, you need to pay for a place to sleep (hotel), food to eat (they have a couple of kosher places, which aren’t for the strictly budget-minded), and transportation. Your Mexico vacation won’t work with only a one way there, I’d consider cancelling today.
