The price on WestJet is $98 Round Trip, and after all of the highway robbery international taxes is $176 from LAX to Toronto.
The price on Air Canada is also $98 Round Trip, but can be reduced by $10 each way by eliminating standard flight options. If you eliminate the options the total cost after all of the international taxes will be $156.
The fares should be similar from Toronto to LAX.

I just tried 01/15-01/22 on and it worked in both directions on both Westjet and Air Canada.
