A321 is a narrow body for a long journey.
Is it worth it ?
Seems claustrophobic!
Will this work using MR and the business platinum rebate for business class?
I am trying to get the deal via chase points, and it doesn’t show me this airline. Any idea what steps I need to take to get the deal?
You have to go to options and choose this airlines as your “preferred airline”
where is this this “options” choice?
“Bookings made by July 15th are all “100% flex” fully refundable tickets”
When booking via chase travel it tells you that tickets are refundable only if cancelled within 24 hours of booking!
I wonder which is true…
That’s the general Chase policy, but if the airline policy is more generous then you should be good.
Will it refund back to Chase points or cash, if Chase isn’t doing refunds and the airline is?
If an airline refunds you should be able to get Chase points back.
You have to balance lie flat all the way with a stop over AND crossing the Atlantic in a 320.
Personally, I consider the stop healthier and appreciate a stop combined with lie flat all the way which is not that common.
Lie flat throughout gives them an upper hand to many connecting carries who only offer regular seats on the Israel leg, with their pretty frequent fare sales I can see many choosing them as an option vs other EU connections
Looks like LOT has many cheap dates in the summer. $1,800-$1,900 business. Longer stops, but should have nice seats, and can earn *a miles/status.
I flew La Compagnie to Paris right before in March 2020, right before COVID-19 hit, it was a really great experience all around. There’s just something special about an all business flight. Seats were very comfortable, WiFi was great even for streaming. The only issue was that the kosher food was severely lacking. Landing in ORY was also great because it’s a much smaller airport compared to CDG and slightly closer to most of the areas tourists would be going to in Paris. Either way, highly recommend this airline! Especially for the EWR-ORY leg.
Not worth it for the stop-over
