You can save 20% off the points rate for Southwest awards. The points rate wiull vary based on the paid cost of a flight. You can search for flights on sale here.
Note that Southwest points are actually less valuable in 2020. Southwest points are normally worth between 1.5-1.9 cents each as award tickets aren’t subject to the 7.5% excise tax normally levied on airfare, which increases the value of their points. However that tax is suspended through 12/31/20 as part of the CARES act. That means that points are worth 1.3-1.5 cents each in 2020.
However with this code, points will be worth more than they were previously! Plus you can cancel Southwest awards and get your points back for free.
You can transfer points from Chase cards like Chase Sapphire Preferred or Chase Sapphire Reserve to Southwest at a 1:1 ratio.
If you previously purchased Southwest travel, you will want to reprice it now to check if you should rebook it!
