I guess teachers got left off that list …..

      • Kaysha Eve

Schools are open in some areas… We have been here since September…

      • Andy

That is false. Virtually all schools outside the big cities have been open all year. My wife has gone every day. Almost 90% of school districts in Michigan offer in person learning options.

    • Chumra Seeker

Teacher are the most front line workers..

  8. Joy Chukwu

Thanks for remembering us health worker.

  9. Thank you!

Amazing!!! I’m a therapist and this is fantastic!

  10. Dave

Sounds like SB isn’t going to put themselves in a position to pick and choose. If you identify verbally as a front line worker then you’ll get your coffee no questions asked. Of you wanna game the system – easy – go right ahead if that free coffee is that important. *Shrug*

  15. Jen

I’m a clinical social worker. What proof do I need to bring with me? I can’t take my license off the wall/

  16. Moshe

Do teachers count as essential – I’m not sure why you would qualify therapists and dental hygienists and not public/private school teachers….

    • Kaysha Eve

Thank you!! That’s what I was thinking.. Cool, again.. teachers getting forgotten.

    • Virginia Brelsford

Hygienists are at highest risk of any profession for infection, also we actually show up (we’re not crying to a union) for 8+ hours a day to bathe in your aerosolized spit.
Hopefully, you’ll get something nice for teachers day.

    • Kim

close proximity, saliva, blood, aerosols-all day for dental hygienists, dental assistants and dentists

  17. Binyamingavriel

At least they consider doctors front line workers. Verizon doesn’t seem to think so.

    • Gytta

Yes they do. I got $25 off my bill for being a dr

  18. Rivka

Is this for medical students too?

    • Sarah

Shouldn’t matter as long as you have an ID med students have been working their butts off during covid at hospitals too

    • H

Nope only actual medical staff with id

  19. HSS

Anyone who “identifies” as a healthcare worker… Hmmm… If according to them Men can identify as women….

  20. Liam K. Nuj

That list of qualifiers is quite broad. How about people who take medicine every day?

    • Joe

      I take medicine-ball allot, would I qualify?

  21. ec

    TY Dan.

Tried it this morning (Hatzolah member) and it works

  22. Benjamin

How many of you are going to lie for a free coffee?

    • Liam K. Nuj

      כל הפוסל במומו פוסל

  23. Jack

Wow! Is it one per person for the month?

    • Emily

It’s unlimited and you don’t have to show your ID; I got one this morning. But you probably can only get one for each visit.

      • Marie

It literally says you don’t need to show an ID
