Last Wednesday I wrote about the opportunity that so many people had asked for, a raffle to win tickets for 2 passengers aboard a kosher catered cruise to Antarctica along with $5,000 cash and a private consult about credit cards and miles with me aboard the ship.
You can buy tickets to enter this raffle through Chabad of Cleveland here.
Chabad of Cleveland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and since 1972 has operated a shul with programming for adults and children while maintaining the community mikvah and running a food bank for the needy. Your raffle entry helps support the work that they do!
Here is a breakdown of which tickets people have been buying:
- 1 person bought the package of 10 tickets for $700
- 10 people bought the package of 5 tickets for $360
- 56 people bought the package of 2 tickets for $180
- 120 people bought the package of 1 ticket for $118
In total there are now 292 raffle entries.

Is there a Chabad house in Antarctica :-)? Like on all exotic trips! or is that part of your trip plans Dan 😉
Not even 1 sold in Israel?
Actually, I live in Israel but put in a NY address so there’s at least one 🙂
Same
Not as of 11am ET, though we will have passengers onboard from Israel.
Are you going to inform us how much the minimum amount of money that needs to be raised is?
I don’t know what the minimum is. It’s not my call.
Only 4 in OH??
C’mon CLE, show support for local Chabad – This showing is worse than a tribe game.
-Didn’t advertise it locally
-Small number of local DD followers
-Takes a certain kind of person to be able to take off for nearly 2 weeks and go to Antarctica
In for 1, why no confirmation email?
I got one
Check your spam folder?
Add another for 360
Good luck!
Typo twice 2 tickets for 180. Do you mean 1 ticket for 118?
Indeed, thanks.
